Ok I wonder why I ever wanted a boy when holy crap he is going to give me so many more grey hairs and I am only 24 well 25 this month but still , too young for all this grey!
For instance and examples yesterday he was playing in his crib 10 seconds later he is after bashing his face off the front of the crib and there is blood everywhere mouth nose I mean it was crazy , after finally getting him cleaned up and lots of cuddles form the pain he is laughing and smiling and discover he damaged the little string thingy under his top lip. The next instance is today he decided hmm I will play while mama cleans, I hear crying turn around and somehow from playing with his toys he has a scratch on his head.. My child the brute.
So we have started really getting into the elf on the shelf and will be posting and album as soon as I get a few more days of pictures on here of the things boogler does.
I am almost all ready for Christmas a few last minute items to pick up as usual, can't have it all done on time lol. Abels Birthday is done for the most part need to pick up some glasses and bake his cupcakes and grab candy but yeah nothing too big, got his balloons presents banners it should be a great day!
I will be uploading a video of abel and his awesome stair climbing and coming down it is crazy I am so proud, Josh and I think we have done an awesome job teaching our son things like this and also how to get down off the couch he actually turns around and slides down. It is the best thing we have taught him. He is also very proud of himself at 11 months old being capable of these things.
Ok so I will trying some diy things from pinterest , as I like to be able to make my own and without spending too much money, Here is something I find very interesting,
Use a tsp of a pack of pudding and a tsp of milk and put it in the microwave for about 15 seconds and dab it on your face and let it dry until hard rubbery and then peel it off, and you will see all the black heads and it will come out.. :)

*its been too long update time!
Hi so I know its been a super long time since I have checked in, life got very busy and work and abel is growing growing growing so needless to say me time is slim to none.
I am so excited to report everything and get you all caught up for abels first birthday! oh yeah his FIRST BIRTHDAY!!!!!
So since September abel has gotten 6 beautiful little pearly whites in his little mouth, he walks stumbly but walks and he climbs up and down the stairs all on his own, yes you read that right on his own! We learned to go up and josh said we need to teach him to go down, I was nerve wrecked but we did I sat at the bottom while daddy sat with him at the top and made him hold the rails and sit on his bum and come down slowly , with lits of practice and acknowledgement hes got it! He doesn't come down or go up without us but atleast he knows so in case he sneaks.
We now have a new addition to our christmas family and his name is boogler our little elf on the shelf, well abel loves him gets very excited when we find him in the morning. It is a great feeling starting our very own family traditions.
We are expecting visitors for christmas again this year, very exciting! Abels birthday is an all day event and will be pirate themed, we did his cake smash photo shoot on december 1st and will post pictures when they are ready. So much so much, I promise to keep posting now that much has been figured out in life and a dew moments a day for sanity have been regained.
Just an update on me and josh on October 28th 2012 our 1 year anniversary.... WE GOT ENGAGED! !!!!!!!! So wedding plans to be announced.

Wacky Wednesday*!:P*
Ok so it is wacky Wednesday again and what else are you going to other then be wacky with your kids, now i may not have a toddler but I am definitely interested in finding out cool and neat ideas to do with Abel when he is one! here are some ideas i found.So try them out !
5 Ways to Keep Your Toddler Busy with Stuff from Around the House:
1. Kids Love to Pour
During these warm summer months, fill up a bowl with water, give them a few cups out on the deck, and they'll happily pour for a long time, which is great for fine motor skills. You can also try rice, beans, anything that pours well and has an interesting texture. You might even tell them they are making soup for some fun imaginary play. Of course, be sure you closely supervise your young children during all of these activities so they don't put anything in their mouth.
2. Paint Anything You Can Find
Even kids as young as 18 to 20 months can do painting. Give them just paper, or an egg carton and show them how to make a caterpillar. Or even try a paper towel tube and cut slits in the bottom to make an octopus.
3. Make Your Own Racetrack
Get some long butcher paper from Hobby Lobby and set it out on your kitchen floor and be sure to tape down each end. Draw a long race track with markers and get out some cars. You go on one end, and your toddler goes on the other. You can roll the cars back and forth to each other on the long race track. This is especially fun for little boys and it usually only takes a few minutes to help them understand to stay at one end.
4. Make a Paper Plate Sheep
Get out some cotton balls and glue. Show your toddler how to put a small dab of glue on each cotton ball and affix it to the plate. If you have older children, they might be capable of gluing cotton balls around the exterior for a true "sheep" but for the younger crowd (20 months to 3 years), they will more likely put cotton balls all over the plate, but praise them lavishly for being able to get the cotton balls on there at all. The first time we did this, I really had to force myself to let go and allow my 20 month old boy to hold the glue bottle, but he amazed and impressed me with his ability to do this. If you want to finish the sheep, you can glue on eyeballs, and cut a nose and ears out of construction paper.
5. Experiment with Baking Soda and Vinegar
Buy some squeeze bottles from Wal-Mart. (Don't worry, this isn't money wasted. You will be able to use them all the time.) For this experiment, get out a foil tin pan and pour some baking soda in the bottom. Fill up the squeeze bottle with vinegar and show them how to squeeze into the pan. The vinegar will make the baking soda fizzle and this will be fascinating for your toddler! Feel free to mix the vinegar with water so you don't waste so much vinegar. They will want to do this over and over again and it's a great way to build up those arm muscles that they will need later for learning to write. To make it even more interesting, add paint to the bottom of the tin so that they can see the colors swirling together.
The important thing is to not let all of these activities overwhelm you. They are meant to be a fun way to spend an hour with your toddler. I have even noticed that after I spend some good quality time with my kids, they are more likely to play on their own for awhile so that I can pay some bills or do the dishes in peace. And what Mom doesn't want to do the dishes in peace once in awhile?

Pot Roast Tuesday...hmmm yummy
Ok pot roast Tuesday here is a recipe for pot roast I will try today i am very excited as it is a comfort food.
Ingredients
- 4 lbs. beef chuck roast, trimmed of excess fat
- kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 15-oz. can crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup water
- 2 red onions, halved
- 2 cloves garlic, smashed
- 6 carrots, peeled and sliced 1/2" thick
- 2 celery stalks, sliced 1/2" thick
- Assorted fresh herbs: I like a few sprigs of rosemary, thyme, flat leaf parsley, and a few bay leaves, but you can use whatever you like.
Preparation
One hour before cooking, take the meat out of the fridge, rinse it and pat it dry with paper towels.
When you’re ready to start cooking, season the meat on all sides with a fair amount of salt and pepper. In a large Dutch oven or heavy bottomed stockpot, heat the olive oil over moderately high heat. Brown the meat on all sides, about 3-4 minutes per side. Pour in the tomatoes and the water. Tuck the vegetables and herbs in around the meat. Cover the pot, bring to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low. Braise for about 3 hours, basting every 30 minutes with the pan juices, until the beef is fork tender.
Remove the pot roast from the pan, allowing it to cool for a few minutes. Slice the pot roast and arrange on a platter surrounded by the vegetables, keeping enough aside to puree or shred for your child. Serve with the juices from the pot.

Mondays Everybody hates MONDAYS!!
Oh how everyone hates Mondays, but I don't, it is the first after a whole weekend of working and everybody being home with Abel that it is just me and him one on one time that we need after a crazy busy super long weekend.
So how do you make Mondays more eventful? Well for me it is making sure i get a head start on my weekly house chores laundry and cleaning so I have more time in the evenings for Josh and I time after we put Abel to bed, also I like to maybe think of things to do for upcoming events or just the week ahead for suppers or even a date night.
So here is one idea for a Monday with your baby, why not teach them sign language..?? ahah you think i am crazy but i have been doing some research on it and it seems very interesting. p.s. join circle of moms so many useful tips there! http://www.circleofmoms.com
Ok so back to teaching your child sign language it is an amazing concept from what I see, and I plan on trying it out with Abel now that he is more coherent and has somewhat of a better attention span, so it shall be my mission on Monday to at least try :) Here are some good reasons why to try and teach your baby sign language:

Abel got his 2nd tooth!!!! *
Ok so just a quickie update this lovely relaxing Saturday night Abel got his 2nd tooth!!!! yeah really in a week my baby boy has gotten 2 teeth! I could cry .. wait I did, like a baby, for a few minutes i was a bigger baby then Abel himself. I have no idea where the time is going, it is really happening our little baby boy is growing up before our eyes.
In a few short months Abel will be 1 year old on Christmas eve or well the day formally known as Christmas eve, now Abel's Birthday.* He will have maybe more then 2 whole teeth and possibly be standing up on his own wobbly or walking who knows! maybe even saying more and more words instead of just mamamamamamama.
I am very happy with my life, I couldn't ask for anything more, I am accomplishing being a mommy to a wonderful baby boy and girlfriend soon to be wife to an amazing man, and working 2 jobs, It's exhausting (life in general I mean) but amazing!
I hope you never take any of this life for granted , it will have many loops and turns and crazy rides but honestly it is the best time of your life. Somedays yes I feel like i get no me time , i feel sad, i feel mad, but the better part of the time I am so crazily happy I cant understand why this all didn't happen sooner. Anyways another day at work about to start, will have more posts up soon x0x0 -

Abel got his first tooth!!
Abel got his first tooth!! On September 3rd 2012, Honestly not as bad as we thought it would be, He was sooky for 2 days and not himself but then all of a sudden a tooth on the bottom left of his mouth! Soon they will be popping out all over oh my goodness, my baby boy is growing up and changing so quickly!
So hint , use tylenol, camilla teething capsules, oragel for his gums, all of it it works it wont take away all of the pain thats for sure but it certainly does help. Lots of Love that is the key!
So Abel is getting around and moving and growing like crazy i have some videos I took of hims yesterday that show how much he has changed in the last couple of months! He has such a personality and is very sneaky!
I am so in love with our little boy, Josh and I cannot believe that this is where life has taken us. There is so much changing on a daily basis. He picks things apart and figures them out then gets bored with them.
I picked up his first tool bench at a great deal for Easter next year, it is so cute! I love sales. So good for early birthday/Christmas present shopping. I am loving life, with work, it is great help to know I can provide for baby boy and not worry so much, Josh and I can go out and not panic over every cent we spend all the time. Also joining the melaleuca team has given me the ability to potentially make some extra cash while also shopping from my home, so no gas money spent and safer products for my family and pets, since I clean like a freak :), They are all natural, and I am using the laundry detergent it smells amazing and so far makes everything very soft! Happy days!

Ok so here it is I am working from home for a great company and yes it is awesome it is a pay cheque and very good hrs flexible to me and baby boy, but i needed a little bit more saving money so i got into this other stay at home job position that helps me make a few extra dollars for the fun in my life that we all need, and also saving money without taking any time away from my days off or hours off with Abel. Also Josh and I have discussed it and figured out what we will be giving all our parents and Abels grandparents as we all decided it would be a very small Christmas for adults this yr. Plan Ahead is the only way I can see to do anything at all, it helps a great deal when you are in that crunch. Well that is all to update on me as of tonight I am currently working so need to get back to that will update with you maybe tomorrow or Monday :) Have a great weekend everyone!

Wednesdays the day in the middle of the week that everybody loves but hates, Its that day that is so close to being the weekend where everyone is home and the fun begins, or it is what resembles some form of you previous life where you couldn't wait to get off work for the next 2 days as then it would be Friday night! Time to go out and party, now you just cant wait for Friday night to go downstairs and cuddle with your hubby who is not having to get up early to leave for work in the morning.

I like to sit with Abel on the couch with some small toys and books and read to him, tickle and play, he laughs laughs and laughs some more and I know he is happy. Little ones need more attention then anything else in the whole wide world, they need to know even if you are bored that they can entertain you also. Abel is a very needy attention kind of baby he loves to have people laugh at him smile at him just generally watch him so he can show us all the things he can do. it isn't a bad thing as he does everything interdependently and can play for hours but loves to just know someone is there watching on the side to be amused or to amuse him if need be. :)
I let Abel come with me to each floor of the house to clean on rainy days so he can watch me do my work while entertaining him like when I am folding laundry I play by throwing clean warm towels over his face. When I am cooking supper I put music on and dance and sing and play with him. I get things done!
Rainy days suck but lots of things to entertain yourself and your little one, remember they sense when you are in a mood and they take their cues form you. So perk up keep smiling hey it is wacky Wednesday where anything can happen and the world is yours and babies to play with!

Oh no baby questions baby everything what to do???
I use http://www.babycenter.com for absolutely everything for Abel, I thought Abel was getting the chicken pox as little red bumps started popping out on him in different places. I ask and google everything to how much should Abel be eating at any given time, his appetite seems to get bigger and bigger everyday cookies snacks vegetables fruit Popsicles!! food food food and more food less and less milk is that normal?? hmm google!! I google his screaming fits to make sure i am not harming hiM, his crys ahah I google EVERYTHING!
Being a new parent is hard everything changes everyone has different opinions on anything and everything so sometimes it is best to form your own opinion form the get go as you are the parent you know your baby the absolute best!

I ask and google everything to how much should Abel be eating at any given time, his appetite seems to get bigger and bigger everyday cookies snacks vegetables fruit Popsicles!! food food food and more food less and less milk is that normal?? hmm google!! I google his screaming fits to make sure i am not harming hiM, his crys ahah I google EVERYTHING!
Being a new parent is hard everything changes everyone has different opinions on anything and everything so sometimes it is best to form your own opinion form the get go as you are the parent you know your baby the absolute best!

Family Photo Shoot* August 08/12
We went to sears photo studios today to get our 2nd ever family photo shoot done, it went great aside form the actual family photos as nobody he trusted enough to get him to smile behind the camera, so a tip#1 always bring someone your baby trust to get a laugh out of them strangers creep them out! Lots of great pictures, bought this off a groupon thinking i did great 39$ awesome a 187$ value, oh my wrong when i got there I wanted them all and the only way all come home is on a cd which cost with a discount today $50.00 plus the enhanced ones on it an additional $10 and another $10 for a member thing for free pictures! ahah so tip #2 when going to have family photo shoot done save save save, prepare to pay more then expected as some prints you just need to have!
Make it fun for your baby not all pictures will be perfect and let them have fun make them laugh and most of all enjoy!
I think we got some pretty great shots and it was all in all worth it! :)

Quick update on everything...
It has been a super busy week since we got back from Newfoundland, It feels like we haven't stopped. Adjusting to being back home with your own things your own bed sometimes honestly it is harder to adjust and just go back to routine. It feels like we have started a whole new routine this week.
Does anyone else out there find it hard to stick to one routine, or feel like you are changing it constantly?
I have booked to get new family photo shoot done on Wednesday so there will be new pictures up with all of us in them very soon!!! so excited :)Groupon is becoming one of my favorite online tools to use for deals, saving money on products and other things for my family. I have been suffering from a terrible migraine this past week and it doesnt seem to be getting any better sadly so that's why less posts this week, On the brighter side of things I have some new videos and pictures of Abel that are Awesome that I will be posting up. I am so excited that I am a new mom well somewhat new, life feels crazy and hectic but honestly i love it.
I found this neat thing online for new moms today it is a diaper bag and little napping place for baby ! http://www.luvaville.com/blog/deltababy-travel-bed-diaper-bag-in-one I think it is a neat little Invention!

Anyhow I am off to finish my clothes washing and folding and grab a quick shower and head to bed for the night Abel has had a very hard day today and I am mentally and physically exhausted with another hard day ahead tomorrow.

*Our first trip to Newfoundland/on a plane together*
So we went to Newfoundland Monday morning for a 2 night 3 day visits with Abel's other grandparents the Dales. It was super crazy and stressful just even getting ready that morning. We arrived at the airport and proceeded to go through security where it was the biggest hassle of life, hold baby and then continue to undo stroller fold it up place on conveyor belt then place car seat bottom and then car seat also laptop out of laptop bag then diaper bag etc...with no help just to say. As airport security stated we cannot help you. !!! ugh I was going to lose my mind!
Ok so I get everything on the belt , they destroyed my very neatly and tightly packed diaper bag looking through it, as it seems to be very suspicious to have baby milk and medicine when you have a 6 mth old child! NOT! PEOPLE!
We finally got through security got on the plane and started our trip Abel drank his bottle and passed out as we took off so his ears didn't bother him, he slept for the first 30 minutes of the plane ride then woke up to the strange sounds and goings on as you have on every plane ride carts moving drinks opening etc. He then got up and watched toopy and binoo on the TV in the big boy seat he got to sit in as nobody booked the seat in the middle! :) He was perfect. Abel got a few frights with the turbulence and crawled up my neck to be close to me and on the landing into Newfoundland but he did awesome!
We spent the rest of the day with Nanny dale and had many many visitors, it was crazy and kind of an overload but hey what do you expect when you bring home an adorable new addition to any family. It was good to see everybody but we were exhausted... well over exhausted at this point.. the night to come was less then good. Abel finally fell asleep at 11:00 and then woke up every hour on the hour upset uncomfortable unhappy and very mommy needy, Until about 3 am when he decided he was going to be up for the day. :( finally go thim back to sleep at 5:30 am till 7 am he was up ad ready to have breakfast! :)
We spent that day in the park Bowring park to be exact we walked we ate ice cream ad we fed the duckies it was a beautiful day :) so much fun!!!!
We didnt have as many visitors that night so it was more of a day spent on Abels schedule, then Uncle Luke came to have supper with us and we went to visit Great Nanny Greenslade together :) it was awesome.
That night Abel slept so much better from 10:30 until 6:30 am the next morning only waking up long enough to check to make sure I was there and move closer to me in the bed. Sadly it was our last and final day in Newfoundland. We told everyone to visit between 9-12 as at 12 Uncle Luke was coming to get me and Robert and go to best buy. Sammy and Paige and Little J came to visit with us I was so happy to see them. We then went to grab some pronto pizza slices for lunch UMMM YUMMMMY!!!! I hopped over to west side for a quick hello and drink ;) visited with my cousin and his son and girlfriend for a few moments then headed back to the house to finish packing and get ready for the airport. It was sad saying goodbye but I was missing Josh as Abel was missing his daddy, and we both I think missed our own beds. It was a great trip though and we will be doing it again next year!! :) for weddings!
The flight home was great aside form the fact my ears wont stop popping lol.
I hope if you ever do decide to travel with your infant do it in a calm peace of mind travel with as much as you need not more then you need and also bring tylenol and nose spray as the plane ride can dry up there little noses. Also remember t is all about your child keep to their schedule as much as you can, it can be a very traumatic experience and overwhelming for them.
