Only 1 and he has a busier schedule then me....

I will be getting my drivers license at the end of may starting classes on the 22nd of April yikesss all these years and it is Abel that makes me want to get it, so i can start a regiment of getting him out of the house on a regular basis not just to the park but swimming adventures beach, everything well even without my license he is still busier then me and his dad combined.

On May 4th Abel will be starting swimming lessons called Mates bronze! he can move up to mated silver and then gold awesome we both get to learn how to act how to teach and be in the pool! Great just because we have a pool in the back of our deck, better he know then not know. Did you teach your child to swim? and at what age was it appropriate?

We are also taking him to the park a lot more now that the weather is getting warmer and guess what he Loves the slide! that's right loves it and today April 18th 2013 he went down the slides all by himself several time no tears just exciting screams! Pictures to come. :)

Abel got his very first haircut yesterday and oh my goodness how he changed , i never thought a haircut could make him look older, well it did more then what I was ready for. He is amazingly handsome more so then before, but seems to have lost all of his baby features along with his haircut. :( He did great though only a little scared at first from the cape but no cape made for a very brave boy, smiles and sat there like a pro. It helped he had an awesome hairdresser named Mario at karas!

I am now at the gym blogging as i watch Josh play squash at the meet. He is great, I love him more and more everyday! Everything he does he does absolutely excellent! Next door to the squash courts seems to be group lessons for spin the music is so loud but exciting!!!!!! makes me think I want to attempt something new. lol.

In my new 10 Meal 10 Days of recipes so far I have made Beef Stroganoff which was actually really easy and tasty, I have also made Orange Rosemary Chicken, and Lasagna, all which have been great. The chicken was a first for me on stuffing one lol. Interesting is all i can say. I planned on jambalaya but that hasn't happened due to lack of remembering to unthaw a few items aha so just BBQ sausages and had fried peppers and onion and baked potato and where summer is coming it will be alot more summer recipes for bbq whichever good meat is on sale and keeps me under budget.

Well thats all for me tonight going to go enjoy watching my handsome play and relax and ready my book. Some m&m peanuts afterwards!

Sunny Cuddly Days*

Ok so i am sitting here after cleaning Abels room and laundry and playtime watching him have his own time now, he is moving wipes from one box to another and sweeping the floor. It is amazing how smart he is.

After his ear infection and sickness we have finally gotten a family membership to the local gym,pool, skating rink with library included. We took him to his first parent tot swim last Saturday, it was great. Every child should know how to swim. I am enrolling him in a swim program at the end of this month that helps me learn with him on how to teach him. Also Josh and I have taken up date night swimming for adults its really fun our time and we get a chance to talk and relax together (no electronics aha).

I have also taken him to a parent child get together at the library and the library has the books and also a play place with toys and train table he enjoyed being there so much interacting with the other kids. He was non stop babbling that whole time. It makes me so happy to see him play and lean and interact. It has pushed me to go get my license I will be enrolling in a class as soon as one becomes available and going the next step, so this summer me and abel can go to as much family fun stuff as we can and parks.

I have never been more proud and more excited to learn something or do something, I look forward to every weekend now and weekdays we can go do something away from the house.

Now for the recipes I know I promised to have them up still typing them sadly, aha i will get them all up with appropriate links to grocery lists I promise. We were not happy with a few so I will either leave those out or add them with be careful make sure you add based on what you enjoy. I am also one of the couple picky eaters in my home so it makes it harder.

This time around we were only a few dollars under budget but alot more cooking meals not just premade and pop in the slow cooker as I am not working now sob I have the time to enjoy cooking again.

I hope all your weeks are off to a great start! I hope to be blogging every few days now as my wonderful fiance gave me a gorgeous tablet and a keyboard case has arrived so blogging is possible on the go now.
